JD picked up a story book tonight while I was sweeping the floor. I was listening from the kitchen and could not help but stopping to go watch him. He was great--sounding out letters and using picture clues to help him. The only word he had trouble with was "the." Way to go JD- You are ready for Kindergarten:)
